Noah & Leah

Noah & Leah

Bart's Story

I grew up in a very moral home, just not a very religious one. Sports, school, and the party scene was my life growing up until someone from Campus Crusade for Christ knocked on my dorm room my freshman year at Ohio State. Shortly thereafter I decided my lack of fulfillment in life, and my lack of purpose and meaning stemmed from a broken relationship with my creator. I gave Jesus my life and within the first year of being a new creation I was burdened to make it my lifelong goal to win, build, and send others to Christ.

Melissa's Story

I grew up going to church. I knew Jesus had died for my sins, but I lived more under the Jesus was my fire insurance umbrella. I could call on him when I needed something and basically be a good person and that was the just of it. But it was in college while I was seeking love and fulfillment in relationships with men that I realized (through my involvement with Cru) that I was seeking something that I couldn't find in anyone else other than Jesus. My heart had finally caught up with all of the knowledge I learned growing up. I really recognized how much I needed someone to save me from the hopeless life I was leading.
